Personal Coaching

You can’t go back and make a new beginning, but you can start today to make a new ending.  Coaching is the key to transforming your life. It begins with helping you to understand where you are now and to obtain clarity about what you would like to achieve.  I then work with you to create and execute a plan of action to move you forward and transform your life.  You’ll be educated, entertained and inspired to take action immediately as I am one of the top coaches in my field and I promise you’ll find clear, logical, easy-to-implement ideas – most of which will make a difference to your life straight away.

Do you have a dream? Become really passionate about it, enthuse to others about it, then begin to do as many things as you can to bring the picture you have in your mind into form. You don’t need to change everything in your life to achieve it – just take baby steps towards it…gently…slowly.

In the absence of clearly defined goals, you become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia and ultimately become enslaved by it. You have a dream; have you set your goals to make that dream come true?  Don’t let it sit in your imagination or your heart forever …trust in you… let it out…..let it come to life.

Take this opportunity to invest in yourself . This investment won’t let you down. The more things change, the more YOU can’t afford not to.

Your sessions are focused and forward thinking, allowing you to get the results you need quickly and enjoyably and ensuring you get great value for money.

If you are stuck at any point by fear of the unknown, I will help with various techniques, such as NLP and TFT, to rid you of the anxiety associated with fears and thus help you to move forward with your life.

I have worked with a range of clients, male and female, young and old, each with their own unique lifestyles and challenges.  I am proud to be able to say that every one of them has benefited from my coaching.  Many of them have made massive changes to their lives, these have included one person changing their career, another moving to another part of the country and building their new life very successfully, and many people have additionally benefited from the removal of their fears.

Blaming Others

When we understand that the world outside of us is a reflection of the world inside of us, we could feel confused about who is to blame for the problems in our lives. If we had a difficult childhood, we may wonder how we can take responsibility for that, and in our current relationships, the same question arises. We all know that blaming others is the opposite of taking responsibility, but we may not understand how to take responsibility for things that we don’t feel responsible for. We may blame our parents for our low self-esteem, and we may blame our current partner for exacerbating it with their unconscious behaviour. Objectively, this seems to make sense. After all, it is not our fault if our parents were irresponsible or unkind, and we are not to blame for our partner’s bad behaviour.

Perhaps the problem lies with the action of blaming. Whether we blame others or blame ourselves, there is something aggressive and unkind about it. It sets up a situation in which it becomes difficult to move forward with the feelings of shame and guilt that arise. It also puts the resolution of our pain in the hands of someone other than us. Ultimately, we cannot insist that someone else take responsibility for their actions; only they can make that choice when they are ready. In the meantime, if we want to move forward with our lives instead of waiting around for something that may or may not happen, we begin to see the wisdom of taking the situation into our own hands. We begin to trust our innate thinking.

We do this by forgiving our parents, even if they have not asked for our forgiveness, so that we can be free. We end the abusive relationship with our partner, who may never admit to any wrongdoing, because we are willing to take responsibility for how we are treated. In short, we love ourselves as we want to be loved and create the life we know we deserve. We leave the resolution of the wrongs committed against us in the hands of the universe, releasing ourselves to live a life free of blame.

Experiencing nature at night time

In the height of summertime’s heat, we often go outdoors at dusk to refresh ourselves in the temperate air of evening. The sounds of crickets and the sight of bats come together with ever-lengthening shadows to create a natural symphony of overlapping sensations that invigorate the body and create enjoyment. As the sun sets, the vivid colours of most flowers and leaves fade, becoming a dull grey, but moon gardens provide us with a space to appreciate Mother Nature’s bounty long after the light of day has dwindled. Designed to be enjoyed from dusk until the coming of the darkness, these gardens serve as a perfect complement to silvery moonlight, mild summer nights, and the spirit of rejuvenation.

Most plant life loves the sun, but a select few shrubs and flowers come into their own in the glow of the moon. The silvery leaves of lamb’s ears and artemisia reflect the radiance of the moon, while the bright-white flowers adorning yucca and evening primrose seem to shimmer brilliantly in dusk’s gloom. Certain blossoms such as the moonflower open only at night, releasing their sweet fragrances in spectacular displays of scent and beauty. While creating a moon garden, remember to take each human sense into account. We appreciate the ghostly beauty of night time nature best when we can sit comfortably until our eyes have adjusted to the surrounding darkness. Bamboo and thick grasses make a comforting sound when rocked by gentle night time breezes.

Transforming a portion of your existing garden or patio into a moon garden is simple, and the pleasure you will derive from your night time retreat will become worth it once you start to enjoy it. Green spaces come alive at night when nocturnal blossoms release their perfume into the air and ethereally lovely and luminous foliage dances in the breeze. In a moon garden, relaxation is a simple matter of attuning yourself to the stillness of evening and seeing, for the first time, the myriad shades of beauty that can be found in the darkness.

The boundaries of experience

None of us is born with an instruction manual that provides explicit rules for thought and behaviour that will help us to navigate life successfully. To cope with the plethora of complexities to which all of humanity is subject, we each develop a set of habits and routines that ground us, and make us feel safe. Most of us know, whether instinctively or by experience, that changes can be uncomfortable, but we always learn and gain so much. Any initial discomfort we experience when expanding our comfort zones diminishes gradually as we become accustomed to change and begin to understand that temporary discomfort is a small price to pay.

Your current comfort zone did, at one time, serve a purpose in your life. But it is representative of behaviours and patterns of thought that empowered you to cope with challenges of days past. Now, this comfort zone does little to help the growth you wish to achieve in the present. Expanding your comfort zone through personal growth of any kind can prepare you to take some larger leaps that will, in time, help you refine your purpose. Work your way outward at your own pace, and try not to let your discomfort interfere with your resolve. With the passage of each well-earned triumph, you will have grown and your comfort zone will have expanded to accommodate this evolution.

Whether your comfort zone is living with your parents, or perhaps being too shy to socialise, or maybe it’s not realising your capabilities, whatever it is, start small, and you will discover that venturing beyond the limited comfort zone you now cling to is not as stressful an experience as you imagined it might be. And the joy you feel upon challenging yourself in this way will nearly always outweigh your discomfort. As you continue to expand your comfort zone to include new ideas, activities, goals, and experiences, you will see that you are capable of stimulating change and coping with the fresh challenges that accompany it.

If you would like to begin to make changes in your life,  then contact me and begin your journey. I would love work with you.
